In over thirty years of activity, Villa Vigoni has played the role of publisher many times: from the magazine “Villa Vigoni Comunicazioni/Mitteilungen”, published for almost a decade from 1998, to the series “Localia”, which includes editions on the history of places and the Mylius-Vigoni family.
Today, in order to optimise new printing technologies, reduce time and costs, and keep the entire book production process (editing, printing, distribution) under direct control, it was decided to further develop Villa Vigoni’s publishing output.
Two new series have been inaugurated, new also in terms of graphics and editorial layout: firstly, a pocket-sized volume to host short essays, and the second, a larger format series for monographs and miscellanies. In the latter, the opening edition will be dedicated to Enrico Mylius, a figure who inspired the birth of Villa Vigoni.
