In the Vigoni Paper n. 9/2020, Deborah Cuccia, researcher at the Hildesheim University, investigates the picture of the Federal Republic in Italy in the 1980s.
The essay reflects upon the evolution of the German-Italian cultural relationships as well as with the picture of Germany which developed in Italy between 1977 and 1990 in an attempt to comprehend whether the 1980s had the potential to change the dynamics the had been taking shapes up to that moment and to mark the beginning of a new phase.
