As part of the BMBF-funded research project "Multiple Crises - Covid-19 and the Entanglements of Public Health, Security and Ecology in Europe", coordinated by the Institut Centre Marc Bloch in Berlin, the interdisciplinary workshop on Rethinking Governance in Times of Multiple Crises: The Cases of Climate Change and Pandemics will bring together 12 researchers from different European countries. Critical humanities and social science perspectives on current crises and threats will be developed and their historical and social dynamics in Europe will be examined. In this sense, the exploration of multiple crises and their interactions should enable a better understanding of the perception, analysis and treatment of complex and intertwined crisis phenomena in contemporary Europe.
