Organising an event at Villa Vigoni

It is possible to hold events at Villa Vigoni. The management reserves the right to assess their feasibility on the basis of their content and in keeping with the Centre’s own programme.

These events may include various kinds of initiatives (workshops, scientific conventions, seminars, exhibitions, concerts, etc.) in a variety of different fields. Villa Vigoni particularly welcomes events in keeping with its own mission of promoting Italian-German relations within a European context.

How to reach us

From November, 29th 2021 till March, 29th 2022, the coastal road between Como and Menaggio (Statale Regina) is closed.

Here below an overview of the travel alternatives.

ARRIVAL BY TRAIN

  • From Milano Centrale train station. Take the train to Varenna-Esino https://www.trenord.it/. From Varenna-Esino train station, walk to the Varenna ferry terminal (about 5 minutes’ walk) and take the ferry to Menaggio. www.navigazionelaghi.it   
  • From Lugano train station FFS

ARRIVAL BY PLANE

  • From Milano Malpensa Airport (MXP).
    • Take the TILO S 50 train from Malpensa airport to Lugano train station www.sbb.ch. From Lugano train station (FFS)
    • Take the train to Como Nord Lago (you have to change in Saronno) www.trenord.it. From Como Nord Lago walk to piazza Cavour -Cavour square- (ca. 5 minutes) and take the ferry (fast service) to Menaggio. https://www.navigazionelaghi.it/
  • From Milano Linate Airport (LIN) 
    From Arrivi Gate 6 of Linate Airport, take the Air Bus shuttle service to Milano Centrale. www.atm.it  From Milano Centrale Train Station, take the train to Varenna-Esino www.trenord.it  From Varenna-Esino Train Station, walk to the Varenna ferry dock (about 5 minutes’ walk) and take the ferry to Menaggio www.navigazionelaghi.it
