What is Europe to you?

From September 1 to December 15, 2020 Villa Vigoni is hosting the photographic exhibition What is Europe to you? by artist Lisa Borgiani.

The pictures portray people whom Lisa Borgiani has confronted in Milan and in Berlin, simply by chance, with the question: What is Europe to you?

The artist's aim is to show portraits and individual viewpoints; visually and linguistically, feelings are expressed that stand for the cultures and languages of Europe. They encourage reflection on "European identity".

Thus, the art project What is Europe to you? takes individual stories as a starting point to express in images and words the feelings of European citizens about Europe.

The exhibition can be visited free of charge on Thursdays from 15:30 to 16:30. In order to guarantee the safety of our guests in the current situation, it is necessary to contact us by e-mail at reception@villavigoni.eu by the Monday before the date requested.  According to the Decree of the Italian President of the Council of Ministers (DCPM) and increased number of infections, it is not possibile to visit the exhibition.
