Villa Vigoni on the Austrian radio station ORF

The "Die Zukunft der Wörterbücher" episode by Christina Höfferer was broadcast on Austrian radio and television station ORF 1 at 7:05 p.m. on Monday 8 April 2019. This followed the conference held on the subject at Villa Vigoni in November 2018.

During that meeting, twenty-one German, Italian, Austrian and Swiss experts from universities and the publishing industry got together to analyse the future of vocabulary. The basic question regarded lexicography in a digital society, where search engines have now replaced dictionary use.

Fifteen theses were written on the subject at Villa Vigoni, marking the start of a project that was also followed up in March 2019, when the group met again in Rome.
