Two new publications in the Aurora series

The scientific publication series dedicated to Villa Vigoni and edited by Franz Steiner in Stuttgart continues.

In May, two volumes in the Aurora series have been published (Franz Steiner editions):

1) Massenparteien im 20. Jahrhundert. Christ- und Sozialdemokraten, Kommunisten und Faschisten in Deutschland und Italien

This anthology tackles the decline of mass political parties that have been foundamental pillars in the 20th century. The German-Italian comparative perspective contributes to the shine light on questions that are more than ever compelling to understand the current political context and his possible developments.

2) Arte e Scienza / Kunst und Wissenschaft. Miscellanea in onore di Aldo Venturelli / Festschrift zu Ehren von Aldo Venturelli

A group of scholars has intended to dedicate a collection of essays to Aldo Venturelli, emeritus professor at the University of Urbino, former Secretary-General of Villa Vigoni and former director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Berlin. The result is a vivid anthology with contributions by renowned germanists and italianists, from literary criticism to art history.
