Brilliant men and their visions is the theme for the 2019 Seminar on Italy, entitled "Visionaries - Italian-German ideas from yesterday for the Europe of today, targeted at those who love and are interested in Italy.
What visionary ideas have emerged at different times within the context of the great Italian-German exchange and have made a lasting impression on the history of Europe? Beginning with this question, experts from Italy and Germany, from universities and from Villa Vigoni, will discuss the points raised.
The aim for each section will be to paint a picture of a "visionary" from an original perspective, always referring to the present. The seminar will be held in German and Italian.
