Villa Vigoni considers participation in discussions on the future of European integration to be one of its priorities. To mark the 60th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome, the centre promoted the collection of essays on "60 years of political union".
By doing so, Villa Vigoni seeks to stimulate a debate in multiple forms and from various disciplinary perspectives - politics, history, law, art, music - that questions the roads travelled and those as yet unexplored in Europe.
The authors include: Giorgio Napolitano, Sergio Fabbrini, Lia Quartapelle Procopio, Wolfgang Ischinger, Antonio Padoa-Schioppa, Elmar Brok, Giuliano Amato, Marco Piantini, Tilman Mayer, Michele Valensise, Julian Stefenelli, Matteo Scotto and Ubaldo Villani-Lubelli.
