The programme for the promotion of German-Italian cooperation in the humanities and social sciences is now open for applications. The funding programme is organised by Villa Vigoni together with the German Research Foundation (DFG) and has been advertised annually since 2010.
The aim of the programme is, among other things, to explore current challenges in the humanities and social sciences from a comparative German and Italian perspective and to mobilise new connections between German and Italian academia.
The focus is on intensive discussion in dialogue, which deliberately differs from the usual conference formats. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 25 people.
Further information, including the full call and the application form, can be found on the call for proposals page.
