Michael Franke's European landscapes exhibited in Orvieto

Villa Vigoni renews its collaboration with the German painter Michael Franke, who presents his artworks  in Orvieto in the exhibition Ántron. Paesaggi etruschi: genesi pittorica dell’Europa.

In the historical city of Orvieto (Etrurian: Velzna), which was Holy City and caput Etruriae, Franke’s artworks will be exhibited from May 20 through September 30 at the Museo del Duomo (Cathedral’s museum).

Franke takes the visitors on a journey through Etruscan landscapes, which can be experienced and admired in more than 150 works, thus offering an unique opportunity to experience the fascinating myth contained in these artificial and natural places. Through his art, Michael Franke creates “divine” landscapes which connect heaven and earth.
