We are pleased to share that the Director of the Department “Projects and Research”, Dr. Matteo Scotto, has contributed to “Global Public Policy and Governance”, a multidisciplinary journal.
GPPG promotes multidisciplinary research to reflect on how increasing global interdependence has shaped public policy and governance in their values, structures, dynamics, and consequences, and vice versa.
Scotto’s article, “Toward a post-American Europe? Trump as a catalyst for EU governance,” explores how shifts in U.S. foreign policy under Donald Trump have acted as a catalyst for deeper European Union governance dynamics, particularly in defence , foreign policy coordination, and transatlantic relations.
This work reflects Villa Vigoni’s ongoing commitment to rigorous research on global governance, transatlantic relations, and policy responses to contemporary geopolitical challenges.
