The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Rome is organising three events in Lombardy in partnership with Villa Vigoni. These events aim to foster an open dialogue between citizens and Germany's diplomatic representatives in Italy.
Here is a list of the three meetings:
1. Monday 6 May, 6:30 p.m., at the Riva Center in Cantù:
“Germania: parliamone! L’Ambasciata tedesca in dialogo con i cittadini di Cantù”
Meeting with:
- Niklas Wagner (Head of the Political Bureau, German Embassy, Rome)
Speakers include:
- Maurizio Riva (designer and owner of Riva 1920)
- Christiane Liermann Traniello (General Secretary, "Villa-Vigoni" German-Italian Centre for European Excellence)
- Peter von Wesendonk (Deputy Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Milan)
- Giovanni Meda Riquier (curator of the historical-artistic collections of "Villa Vigoni" German-Italian Centre for European Excellence)
- Michele Vangi (researcher at "Villa Vigoni" German-Italian Centre for European Excellence).
2. Tuesday 7 May, 2:30 p.m., at the University of Insubria (Aula Magna - S. Abbondio) in Como:
“Germania, Italia, Europa: parliamone! L’Ambasciata tedesca in dialogo con l’Università dell’Insubria”

- Barbara Pozzo (Director of the Department of Law, Economics and Culture, Università degli studi dell'Insubria)
- Gabriella Mangione (Full Professor of Comparative Public Law, Università degli studi dell'Insubria)
- Michele Vangi (researcher at "Villa Vigoni" German-Italian Centre for European Excellence).
3. Wednesday 8 May, 11:30 a.m., at the Municipality of Uggiate-Trevano (Sala "La Meridiana", Via Garibaldi, 14, 22029 Uggiate Trevano - CO):

- Fortunato Turcato (Mayor of the Municipality of Uggiate-Trevano)

- Cosimo Capogrosso (Uggiate-Trevano Secondary School Headmaster)
