The book "Italy, Germany and European Unity: Reflections thirty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall" (edited by Matteo Scotto, Christiane Liermann Traniello, Ubaldo Villani-Lubelli) just published by Franz Steiner Verlag, will be presented on December 5, 2019 at 17:30 at the Institute of the Italian Encyclopedia Treccani in Rome. The book collects contributions from experts in German-Italian relations, to investigate the processes of a historical period no not yet concluded, but of which a first, substantial evaluation can already be drawn up. As well as the curators of the volume, there will be Massimo Bray, general director of the Treccani Italian Encyclopaedia Institute, Viktor Elbling, ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Italy and Vanna Vannuccini, journalist of the newspaper La Repubblica.
