The second Vigoni Musica - Music and Creativity 2019 will take place during the Focus of the Year 2019: "Creativity, Sustainability, Progress: 250th Anniversary of the Birth of Enrico Mylius". Villa Vigoni aims to build a bridge between the Europe of today and the world of its "founding father" Enrico Mylius to mark the 250th anniversary of his birth.
The three key themes - creativity, sustainability and progress - characterise the innovative personality of Mylius from a historical, cultural, economic and political perspective and as regards his role in relations between Germany and Italy during the first half of the nineteenth century.
In terms of music, creativity is the aspect with the most decisive part to play in the sustainable development of the cultural future of European societies.
