For 150 years German and Italian researchers have been working together on the publication of the Herculaneum papyri. In the last 20 years the method has undergone a fundamental change due to technical progress (MSI, RTI, digitalisation, material analysis) and the systematic research of the collection's history. The aim of the meeting is to take stock of what has been achieved so far and to jointly develop new strategies and projects.
