ABSTRACT

GraFOx is going to hold the international “GraFOx Summer School on Oxide Semiconductors for Smart Electronic Devices”, June 3-9. The Summer School provides Ph.D. candidates and Post-docs with the opportunity to have an in-depth looking into the dynamic field of oxide semiconductor materials research and applications. PhD students from GraFOx as well as international external PhD students and young researchers from 11 countries have registered. Highly recognized international speakers, Claudine Chopin-Noguera, Regina Dittmann, Roberto Fornari, Shizuo Fujita, Michael Heuken, Debdeep Jena, Lena F. Kourkoutis, Chris G. van de Walle, and Joachim Würfl will give introductory key lectures. Joint meals and social activities such as a boat trip to the triangle Menaggio, Bellagio and Varenna and a city tour of Como on the footsteps of Alessandro Volta will complete the scientific program and encourages opportunities for exchange, even outside of science.
