Over the past decade, the European banking and financial regulation has been subject to a long process of reforms. In particular, the main reforms have designed a new regulatory framework for both the banking sector, as outcome of the Banking Union, and financial markets, through the implementation of the MiFID II/MiFIR package. Finally, the Green Paper, as well as the Action Plan on Capital Markets Union, have opened a new horizon of reforms for the very near future.
In this context, the International Summer School on Banking & Capital Markets Law 2019 brings together members of the main European research community in order to debate contemporary issues on European Banking and Financial law in the light of the most recent reforms.
