    Prof. Veronica Federico, Firenze
    Dr. Lorenz Wiese, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg

The purpose of the colloquium is to discuss migrants’ (refugees, asylum seekers and/or economic migrants) integration processes at the local level, highlighting barriers and enablers in an Italo-German perspective. Through a truly multidisciplinary approach, the colloquium will enquire instruments, paths and challenges of integration at the local level, both in urban and rural areas. Top-down and bottom-up experiences will be analyzed, and best practices discussed in a policy panel with local decision-makers, with the aim of creating a constructive dialogue between academia and practitioners.
