ABSTRACT

From 8 August to 8 September 2019, the Museum Giersch der Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt am Main will host the exhibition entitled "Enrico Mylius (1769-1854): a European citizen between Frankfurt am Main and Milan", which, 250 years after his birth, celebrates the "founding father" of Villa Vigoni, Enrico Mylius, in his hometown, Frankfurt.

The exhibition is divided into seven thematic rooms, which allow the visitor to fully understand the man Enrico Mylius, from the private to the public sphere, illustrating the central events of his life. The exhibition is organised under the patronage of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Rome and the Embassy of Italy in Berlin.
