From 2 to 4 September 2026, a delegation from the University Centre Vöhlinschloss visited Villa Vigoni. The purpose of the visit was to discuss new forms of collaboration and to explore how Villa Vigoni’s academic profile might be broadened in the future to include topics at the interface of polytechnic universities in Northern Italy and universities of applied sciences in Southern Germany.

This visit represents the first of many such dialogues, in which historical ties may give rise to fresh perspectives. From this foundation, a partnership can emerge that brings together tradition and the future, academia and practice, while building bridges between Germany, Italy, and Europe.

Vigour, Vitality, Vision – three words that symbolically point the way toward a shared future.
