The Vigoni Forum for Students, focusing on “The Changing Nature of Transatlantic Relations and Possible New Alliances for Europe“, took place for the 15th time this year, from 7 to 10 September.
Students from Germany, Italy and other European countries explored international relations, global ‘political economy’, security and defence as well as multilateral governance.
Adopting an interdisciplinary approach, they examined current developments and discussed their implications for the European Union.
The Vigoni Forum for Students was launched in 2012 with the support of the Villa Vigoni’s Circle of Friends and organised in collaboration with the VIAVAI office for German-Italian youth exchange.
