Call for proposals for German-Italian-French cooperation
Trilateral Research Conferences
Together with the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme (FMSH), Villa Vigoni has launched the Trilateral Research Conferences programme. This programme seeks to promote the establishment of and exchange between scientific networks in the humanities and social sciences in Italy, Germany and France in a sustainable manner. Multilingualism is a central principle in the implementation of the programme, which is why the use of Italian, German and French as scientific languages is explicitly required during the relevant events.

Since 2024, the German-Italian Centre Villa Vigoni has been supported by Treccani Cultura in the implementation of the trilateral programme.

Each trilateral conference consists of three meetings that take place in three consecutive years. All three meetings take place at Villa Vigoni.
Three researchers, working respectively in Italy, Germany and France, will be responsible for preparing and presenting the proposal and coordinating the group.
Further details can be found in the call for proposals and the application form; Villa Vigoni offers informational sessions via Zoom (see below).
