As Director of the Department of Internal Medicine I at the University Hospital Regensburg and Chair of Internal Medicine I at the University of Regensburg, Professor Müller-Schilling combines excellent clinical practice with innovative research and outstanding teaching.
“Closeness to clinical practice is for me a key element of high-quality medical education,” Professor Müller-Schilling emphasises. “I find it essential to prepare students as best as possible for their entry into the profession and for the challenges inherent in medical work.”
This distinction honours her enduring commitment to research, teaching, and the European scientific dialogue.
