Curriculum Vitae
Manuele Veggi has been working in the Villa Vigoni team since 2020 as external collaborator at the publishing house “Villa Vigoni Editore | Verlag” and at the Research and Projects Department.
He is interested in the methodology for the exploitation of cultural heritage through digital tools, such as interactive systems for museums and the opportunities offered by the semantic web (mainly ontologies and linked open data). Since November 2023 he is PhD Candidate at the doctoral program in “Heritage Science” (Università La Sapienza, Rome; CNR – ISPC, Institute for Heritage Science).
He graduated in Italian Studies at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in 2021 and at the MA “Digital Humanities and Digital Knowledge” at the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna in 2023. He has been student at the honors colleges of the two universities and attended courses with professors from Harvard University, Boston College and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität.
He collaborated in the field of digital humanties at the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence and at the Fondazione Federico Zeri in Bologna, and joined as visiting student the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne – Laboratory for Experimental Museology (EPFL – eM+).
