The call for proposals for the German-Italian cooperation in the humanities and social sciences is open. The programme is conceived and organised by Villa Vigoni in cooperation with the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the call for proposals has been issued annually since 2010.
The aim of this programme is, among other things, to explore current challenges in the field of humanities and social sciences from an Italian-German perspective, as well as to activate new Italian-German scientific networks.
The colloquia are characterised by intense dialogue, a format deliberately chosen for its departure from traditional conferences. The number of participants is therefore limited to 22.
