The seminar aims at discussing the recursive relationship between law and organizations (state, businesses or associations) from a legal and sociological perspective. The thesis is that organizations significantly influence the application and further development of the law both through lobbying activities and through decision-making processes and initiatives of various kinds. Recursive relationships can be observed empirically, especially in the context of important change processes such as energy transition. By comparing Germany and Italy, we intend to highlight the cultural aspects and national specificities of the phenomenon.
