Our discussion centered on the question of what exactly is meant by the special method of phenomenology in the programmatic theoretical approaches of Edmund Husserl, Max Scheler and Adolf Reinach. We also looked at differences and overlaps within these approaches.
The importance of methodological groundwork for actual philosophical work on the major themes of early phenomenology was discussed in relation to the question of the experience of the other, the constitution of the lived-body, the theory of values, the grammar of emotions and the problem of realism.

Within the framework of the German-Italian cooperation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft – Villa Vigoni).
