This colloquium delineates current research on cultural, professional, and educational exchanges and mutual influences between Italian and German architects in the 20th century. It brings together scholars from both countries using comparative approaches, examining cases from individual careers abroad to transnational events and collaborations, and aims to advance a shared Italo-German research agenda across planning, restoration, landscape architecture, and design.
Within the framework of the German-Italian cooperation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft – Villa Vigoni)
