Through its own publishing house, Villa Vigoni seeks to explore topics relating to the German-Italian dialogue in Europe. The Villa Vigoni Editore | Verlag can be seen as an instrument which makes the research findings and results of Villa Vigoni´s academic cooperations accessible to the public.

The Vigoni Papers are aimed at a broad audience. The papers offer reflections on Europe and developments in the European Union from a historical and political perspective.
For the authors
Our publishing house welcomes manuscripts of unpublished works and translations in the field of humanities and social sciences.
We are particularly interested in contributions that examine relations between Italy and Germany from a European perspective.
To submit a proposal, it is necessary to fill out the attached questionnaire.
Manuscripts have to be formatted according to the official template of Villa Vigoni Editore | Verlag.

The Aurora series is designed as an academic forum for international research. The publications in this series explore various different aspects of European culture in the German-Italian context. The range of academic disciplines involved is broad; topics on different epochs are represented, from antiquity to the present day. The series consists of monographic studies, which are published by Franz Steiner Verlag in electronic and printed form.

The completed series Impulse – Villa Vigoni in conversation contains discussions on topics of particular interest in today´s rapidly changing society. The contributions are intended to be just that: ‘impulses’ to pause and reflect on positions and arguments, especially when they are not identical to one´s own. The various volumes have been published in printed and electronic form by Franz Steiner Verlag.

In the Villa Vigoni – German Italian Studies series, a total of 26 volumes had been published by 2012, first by Niemeyer Verlag and then by De Gruyter.
Series of the Villa Vigoni – German-Italian Studies
The German-Italian Studies series was published by Leo S. Olschki between 1990 and 2008. A total of 12 volumes have been published, which deal with Italian-German relations in the field of literature, philosophy and history.
German-Italian Studies
The four issues of the journal Vigonianae were published in 2010/11 and were intended for readers with a particular interest in political and cultural-historical topics. They considered German-Italian relations, European challenges and aspects of the history of the two cultures. It also reported on the activities of Villa Vigoni.

The Pubblicazioni amiche are publications that appear independently of Villa Vigoni Editore | Verlag, but in cooperation with Villa Vigoni itself, e.g. as an anthology with contributions to a workshop that has been held at Villa Vigoni.
