How do you organise an event at Villa Vigoni?

It is possible to hold events at Villa Vigoni. The management of Villa Vigoni will therefore discuss with the interested parties whether the proposed content fits into the annual programme, whether a suitable date can be found and whether funding can be secured.

These events may include various kinds of initiatives: workshops, scientific conferences, seminars; in individual cases also exhibitions and concerts, etc. The range of possible topics is broad. Villa Vigoni particularly welcomes events in keeping with its own mission of promoting Italian-German relations within a European context.

The request can be discussed in advance by telephone; a written synopsis (max. 2 pages) in Italian, German or English should follow, with details of the proposed content, information on the participants and the funding.

Conference spaces

Conference Room: up to 60 people
Marcolini Room: up to 15 people
Egyptian Room: up to 7 people
Scuderia (Stable): up to 20 people

Technical equipment

The Conference Room is equipped with Wi-Fi, a projector, microphones, interpreting booths and a Bechstein grand piano.
The Scuderia (Stable) is equipped with Wi-Fi, a projector and microphones.
It is therefore possible to hold video conferences and make recordings of events.

Accommodation

For the events, 44 modern rooms with historical charm (single, double and twin rooms) are available in the two main villas and in the adjacent buildings. If additional capacity is required, accommodation can be provided in nearby hotels.

The catering service

The catering service is part of the programme and features excellent Italian cuisine at Villa Vigoni.

On request, shared transfers can be organised from / to the following locations:

Como San Giovanni railway station – Villa Vigoni (journey time approx. 70 minutes)
Lugano railway station – Villa Vigoni (journey time approx. 70 minutes)
Milan Malpensa airport – Villa Vigoni (journey time approx. 110 minutes)
Milan Linate airport – Villa Vigoni (journey time approx. 130 minutes)

For reasons of sustainability, individual transfers are not offered. Indeed, Villa Vigoni seeks to orientate as many areas of work as possible towards the goal of ‘sustainability’.
