With the title "Art in the Villa - From Creativity to Creation" Villa Vigoni has been hosting the works of sculptor Elvino Motti since the beginning of July 2019. Among these there are abstract and metaphysical works, but also human figures. There is a virtuous combination of different types of marble and stone, sometimes smooth and soft, others rough and left almost in its natural state.
Particularly characteristic of Elvino Motti's works is the attempt to make the creative process comprehensible to the observer.
Creativity is one of the keywords (creativity, sustainability, development) with which Villa Vigoni this year remembers the 250th anniversary of the birth of its "founding father" Enrico Mylius (1769-1854). Mylius was not only very creative in his professional life, but also promoted the Fine Arts as a patron.
Villa Vigoni, together with the artist Elvino Motti and the curator Dominique Stella, has the pleasure of organising a guided tour of the exhibition, during which the catalog will also be presented.
The appointment is for Tuesday, October 22 at 18.00, and will end with a small toast.
Free event with compulsory registration by October 18 at the address firstname.lastname@example.org
