+++ In view of the increased number of infections, a new Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers (DCPM) was approved on 18.10.2020.
Villa Vigoni rigorously adheres to the decree, therefore until further notice all colloquia and seminars are suspended +++
Due to the current risk situation in connection with Covid-19 and the related legal provisions applicable in Italy, we would like to point out that participation in the events of Villa Vigoni is not possible in the following cases:
In addition to the what is already listed in the link, the Italian Ministry of Health has established the following Countries (at the moment Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Czech Republic and Spain) as risk listed areas. Persons entering to Italy from the before mentioned countries (after staying or transiting in any of these Countries in the 14 days prior to travelling to Italy) besides filling in a self-declaration form, must take the following preventive measures:
As Villa Vigoni, we are obliged to take the body temperature of all our guests, both on their first arrival at the Villa and every morning before breakfast.
For guests who are picked up by a taxi service at the airport or train station, the first measurement is already taken by the driver. Should this result in a body temperature of more than 37.5 degrees, it is not possible to use the taxi service together with other guests. The person concerned has the possibility of travelling to Villa Vigoni by single taxi at his own expense, where a separate guest room is temporarily provided for this purpose.
Since the guest is obliged to remain in quarantine until the situation is clarified with the competent Italian health authorities, meals will be served exclusively in the room. All costs for board and lodging are to be borne by the guest. Villa Vigoni will assist in contacting the competent health authorities and organising a corona test as soon as possible.
In order to avoid this very unpleasant situation for everyone involved, we strongly advise against travelling to Villa Vigoni in cases of doubt regarding the above-mentioned points that cannot be clarified.
We ask all our guests for their understanding for these strict but currently unavoidable measures and we very much hope to be able to return to our usual unrestricted hospitality as soon as possible.
