As part of the "Villa Vigoni with and for young people" format and in collaboration with the Chair of Comparative Law held by Prof. Gabriella Mangione, Institute of Law, Economics and Culture, University of Insubria in Como, Villa Vigoni is promoting a political-literary lecture that will be given at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday 26 February. Prof. Dr Michael Göring will read excerpts from his latest novel Hotel Dellbrück, which addresses the fate of refugees during different periods of the 20th and 21st centuries. As president of the ZEIT Foundation (Hamburg), Professor Göring has also publicly commented on the challenges posed by populist movements in Europe. The themes of the conversation with the young people of Como will therefore be the literary treatment of history in the novel and the current political situation in Europe.
